Last week we welcomed Dr Zara Stanhope as the new Director of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. We marked the occasion with a pōwhiri at the Gallery, joined by kaimahi, members of the arts community, and Zara’s whānau, former team and community leaders who travelled from Taranaki and across Aotearoa. We’re looking forward to this new chapter and to continuing to serve Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and beyond through art and ideas. Nau mai, hoki mai Zara.
