Was reading up on organisational culture over weekend and how it can act as a nitro boost or involuntary brakes to sustainable growth. Clara Shih from Stanford said something which really stayed with me. “Culture is defined by the worst behavior you tolerate and the best behavior you celebrate.” If you tolerate missed deadlines, poor quality, weak accountability, or disrespectful behaviour, those become the real standards of the team and eventually culture. On the contrary, best cultures don’t just raise the ceiling for top performers. They raise the floor for everyone. Found it to be one of the most powerful leadership lessons - Your team’s culture isn’t in fancy decks, it’s what you allow and act on in the everyday. As a leader focus on raising the floor (for everyone) not just the ceiling (for some). #Leadership #Culture #Management #ProductLeadership #DataLeadership #CustomerExperience #TeamPerformance #AItransformation
