All summer long, we’re sharing the experiences of our interns. We’ve already met members of marketing and finance programs. Today, we’re getting the scoop from an intern working on our Cyber Insider Risk Forensics team. Let’s see how she’s liking #LifeAtATT so far: “Hi everyone! My name is Natalie, and I’m so excited to be spending this summer in Dallas, Texas as a Cybersecurity Intern. I’m a junior at High Point University majoring in cybersecurity with a minor in Spanish. I’ve always loved problem-solving and how technology can be used to protect people and organizations, so I’m really looking forward to growing those interests. I chose AT&T because of its strong reputation for innovation and the important role it plays in keeping people connected. I was excited about the chance to work for a company like AT&T and learn in a real-world setting, too. Since this is my first internship, I came in feeling a little nervous, but one of the things that has stood out to me most is how welcoming and supportive everyone is. People have really gone out of their way to help me get started on the right foot. This summer, I’m part of the Cyber Insider Risk Forensics team, which has already shown me how important collaboration, attention to detail, and critical thinking are in this work. My goal is to keep building both my technical and professional skills while gaining more confidence in applying what I’ve learned. I also hope to make connections with people across AT&T, especially on other teams, so I can learn from different perspectives. At the same time, I want to make meaningful contributions to my team and take full advantage of every opportunity this summer brings!”
