๐Ÿ“ธ Last night, ATSE officially launched the STELR Fund initiative at Government House WA, bringing together educators, partners and supporters committed to strengthening STEM education across Australia. At ATSE, weโ€™re committed to supporting the next generation of STEM leaders and that starts in school through #STELR. Now in its 15th year and reaching over 1,000 schools nationwide, the STELR program is equipping primary and secondary students with hands-on, practical experience in science and engineering. From renewable energy to sustainable housing, students are building the skills they need for the future. The newly launched STELR Fund will help expand this impact even further. Through the generosity of philanthropic donors, the Fund provides free and discounted STELR kits to schools across Australia, supporting those who might not otherwise have access to these valuable resources. Through the first two rounds alone, the STELR Fund has already supported dozens of schools, including many in rural and remote communities. Schools in the Kimberley, Pilbara, Northern Territory, western Queensland and more are already seeing the real-world impact these kits are having on their students. A highlight of the event was hearing directly from Balga Senior High School teacher Roslyn London, who shared their experience and the difference STELR is making in their classrooms. We thank the Deputy to the Governor, the Honourable Justice Bruno Fiannaca, who, on behalf of the Governor His Excellency the Honourable Christopher John Dawson AC APM, hosted ATSE and our distinguished guests at Government House for this important milestone. ๐Ÿ”— Learn more about the #STELR program and the STELR Fund: https://lnkd.in/gNNDGwez
