This #ScholarSaturday, we are highlighting the story of #ElevateSTEM scholar Talia Hawkes who had once-in-a-lifetime trip to Antarctica for two months on board the Australian research ship RV Investigator. ❄️ 🔬 As part of her PhD in paleoceanography at the University of Tasmania, supported by the Elevate: Boosting diversity in STEM scholarship, Talia experienced first-hand the exhilaration of scientific fieldwork and genuine cross-disciplinary collaboration.
