🤝 Productive conversations in Perth strengthening connections between science, technology and policy. This week, ATSE engaged with key Federal and Western Australian representatives, with meetings attended by ATSE President Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM FTSE FAA, Deputy CEO Peter Derbyshire, STEM Careers Director Dr Alison Every and Acting Strategy and Government Relations Manager Dr Owen Myles. Across a series of discussions, we explored priorities shaping Australia’s future, including sovereign capability, emerging technologies such as #AI and #Quantum, STEM workforce pathways and education. Conversations centred on ATSE’s STEM career initiatives, including #STELR, #ElevateSTEM and #Propel, and the critical role they play in building a strong, future-ready STEM pipeline.
