Atlantis has never hired for the perfect résumé. Of course, qualifications matter. Experience matters. Skills matter. But some of the people who've built this company didn't walk in with the most impressive CVs. What caught our attention was something harder to put on paper. Curiosity, the willingness to learn, the ability to take ownership, the courage to ask questions when they did not have the answers, and most importantly, the hunger to grow. A résumé tells us where someone has been. It does not tell us where they can go. And in an industry changing as fast as ours, where someone is headed matters just as much as where they have been. We would rather hire someone eager to learn than someone who believes they already know everything. Because skills can be taught, systems can be learnt, and processes can be trained. Attitude, resilience, and the desire to show up better every day are much harder to find, not something you train into people.
