What does 24/7 mean at Atlantis? Our entire industry runs on a 24/7 model. But what that looks like in telecom is very different from what it means in almost any other context. In most sectors, round-the-clock support means L1. Someone to log a complaint, report a fault, or, in some cases, request emergency help. That is where it ends. Telecom does not work that way. When something goes wrong on a network, you need someone to register the fault. Someone to identify the reason and troubleshoot. Someone to do a deep dive if it is critical. And someone on the ground if it needs to be physically fixed. L1, L2, L3, and on-ground. All of it, often at the same time, at any hour. Communication and connectivity are essential today in a way they simply were not before. When they go down, the pressure is immediate. Nobody schedules their frustration for business hours. Working in this industry asks something of you that most jobs do not. You cannot leave the responsibility at the office at the end of the day. The mindset has to be there even when the shift is not.
