We’ve just been recognised by the World Economic Forum. It's a big moment - but what matters most is what sits behind it. Our UK & Ireland STEM School Governors Programme, delivered with Boards for Education, has been named a Future of Inclusion Lighthouse. Our programme places our people on school governing boards across the region, working alongside educators to shape decisions that affect more than 153,000 students across 150+ schools. This isn’t traditional outreach. It’s long-term, hands-on involvement in how schools are run - bringing industry insight into curriculum, careers and strategy. As the first programme of its kind in the UK, it embeds industry expertise directly into decision-making. We’re already seeing tangible results: from STEM enrichment and career pathways to improvements in school environments, opening new opportunities for students across 50+ communities. At the heart of it are our people, helping address the skills gap by reaching new talent pools, including young people who may never have considered a career in our industry. As one of our governors put it, it’s about “bridging industry and education to ensure pupils are prepared for life beyond the classroom.” Learn more about our impact in the WEF's Future of Inclusion Lighthouses 2026 report : https://brnw.ch/21x3bxt
