After Hurricane Harvey, rebuilding meant more than restoring what was lost. It meant reducing future flood risk. In Harris County, Texas, we’re helping support a $2.5bn program focused on strengthening flood control, minimizing repeated property loss and protecting communities long term. This includes expanding stormwater detention capacity across 3,400 acres, upgrading channels, and improving how water moves through the system during extreme weather events.
