**How to Pay Taxes from Abroad** Living abroad presents unique challenges and opportunities, one of which is paying taxes. If you live or work abroad, there are two main ways to pay your taxes: direct debit or bank transfer. **Payment by Direct Debit** - The IBAN account must be held at a bank in a Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) country. - SEPA countries include the Member States of the European Union, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, and Vatican City State.
