Successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) – exceeding expectations. Today we completed a Factory Acceptance Test FAT for a Sewage Pump Station at Jeddah Airport – carried out under truly realistic conditions, and the results speak for themselves. The penstock was tested on a dedicated test rig that simulated real-life operating conditions, with installed frame and plate and also full open/close travel. This allowed us to validate not just theoretical performance, but actual behavior in practice. The outcome: performance exceeded the specified leak limits by more than 200 times. Equally important, the feedback from all parties involved – end client, maincontractor, subcontractor, Bureau Veritas and our local Agent – was outstanding. The design, build quality, and overall execution were met with great enthusiasm.
