Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a leading cause of heart failure and a frequent reason for heart transplantation. It can arise from genetic and acquired causes, making it complex to treat. Current approaches focus on disease management instead of targeting the underlying biology that drives the condition. We’re working to target the pathways involved in DCM, aiming to disrupt the mechanisms that lead to weakened heart muscle, with the goal of helping people live better, healthier lives.
