🔎 We’re Hiring: Reward & Benefits Lead 📍 Aston University, Birmingham Are you an experienced reward and benefits professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for creating fair, competitive and inclusive people practices? At Aston University, we’re looking for a Reward & Benefits Lead to play a key role in shaping and delivering our reward, pay and benefits offering. 💼 About the Role This is a varied and influential position where you will: • Provide expert advice on reward and benefits across the University • Analyse data to generate meaningful insight and support decision-making • Lead on salary benchmarking and pay-related activity • Support job evaluation processes and maintain robust reward frameworks • Work closely with HR & OD, Payroll, Pensions, Finance, and external partners • Liaise with benefit providers and monitor engagement and uptake • Translate complex data into clear, accessible reports for stakeholders ✅ About You We’re looking for someone who brings: • Experience in reward and benefits, including salary benchmarking and data analysis • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • The ability to manage priorities in a complex environment • A solid understanding of reward principles, pay structures and employee benefits • A commitment to fairness, transparency and inclusion A CIPD qualification, or experience within higher education or the public sector, would be advantageous — but not essential.
