New findings from a study by A*STAR biotech spinoff Lucence, Singapore General Hospital and the DxD Hub - Diagnostics Development Hub, demonstrate the potential of urine-based liquid biopsy to strengthen the detection of bladder, prostate and kidney cancers. The test identified #cancer signals in over 90% of bladder cancer cases studied and showed promising results for prostate and kidney cancer detection. A key contribution from DxD Hub was the development of the diagnostic workflows needed to translate urine-based testing into a stable and clinically deployable solution, helping bridge the gap between scientific discovery and real-world healthcare application. More than a scientific advance, this work highlights how innovations at the intersection of MedTech and biotech can help make healthcare more precise — enabling earlier diagnosis, more personalised care and better outcomes for patients. #SGMedTech #InnovatewithASTAR #Healthinnovation
