𝗔*𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗜𝗗𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗠𝗥𝗖𝗔), 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀! Signed on 7 April at Institut Pasteur in Paris, the MRCA builds on the momentum from the MoU signed between both institutions in Singapore last November. Marking a new chapter in our collaboration, this framework will focus on developing innovative technologies that address global health challenges posed by infectious diseases—including respiratory and vector-borne diseases, as well as antimicrobial resistance. Beyond research, the agreement will enable talent exchange and unlock new funding opportunities, accelerating scientific progress with real-world impact. As a first step, two collaborative research projects will be launched, namely 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, and 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. The MRCA was also spotlighted during Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of National Research Foundation Singapore Mr Heng Swee Keat's recent official visit to France, with a symbolic exchange of agreements marking this important milestone in Singapore-France scientific collaboration.
