The triple bill joint seminar brought together leading experts across distinct yet complementary disciplines to inspire transformative innovations. • Prof Eric Miska (University of Cambridge) shared lessons from nature that continue to shape RNA communications and therapeutic strategies. • Prof Kathryn Uhrich (University of California, Riverside) offered new perspectives on polymeric bioactives and the promise of biobased materials. • Prof Leo Poon (HKU-Pasteur Research Pole, The University of Hong Kong) provided critical learnings on global pandemic preparedness grounded in COVID-19 experience. The inspiring talks emphasised the importance of multi-disciplinary research where molecular biology, materials science, and public health intersect, with the success of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines as a compelling example of how such synergies can translate into life-saving solutions. A heartfelt thank you to all the speakers and attendees for an energising morning of ideas, inspiration, and new possibilities for collaboration! Lisa F.P.
