We are thrilled that Prof Marco Vignuzzi, Senior Principal Investigator, A*STAR IDL Anti-Viral Therapeutics Labs, has been presented the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 by the International Society for Antiviral Research (ISAR). ISAR is an internationally recognised organisation for scientists involved in basic, applied, and clinical aspects of antiviral research. The Society annually selects an Award of Excellence to a single scientist of any group historically underrepresented in our Society who has made outstanding contributions to the field of Antiviral Research. Prof Vignuzzi proudly accepted his award at the International Conference on Antiviral Research (ICAR), an interdisciplinary prestigious meeting attended by prominent chemists, biologists, and clinicians, organised annually by ISAR. Leading by example as a Virology KOL, Marco has generously donated the cash award to non-profit organisations that run education, advocacy and outreach programmes.
