Congratulations to Sanjith for winning the A*STAR Science Award (Polytechnic)! This award is part of A*STAR’s ongoing efforts to nurture young and promising scientific talent, given to Singaporean Year 2 and 3 polytechnic students who demonstrate particularly strong aptitude and interest in mathematics and science to spur their passion in scientific research and development. During his internship, Sanjith acquired invaluable skills in microbiology, molecular biology, and virology under the mentorship of Dr. Guillaume Carissimo (Host-Pathogen Interactions Lab) and Dr. Claire Honney (Bacterial Pathogenesis Lab), introducing him to the world of virology and animal models, deepening his knowledge and fueling his passion for scientific research. #astaridlabs #ScientificTalent
