𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 🔬🌱 A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs - A*STAR IDL had a fantastic time hosting over 20 undergraduate students from the National University of Singapore under the General Virology course! 🎓✨ From classroom to cutting-edge research — it was exciting to bring students behind the scenes of 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 at A*STAR IDL 🧬🔬 The visit featured a guided lab tour, where students got to see the 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 🏥⚙️, followed by an interactive panel sharing session with our young scientific talent from the 𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿-𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 🦟 The session sparked lively conversations as our researchers shared: 💡 what a 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 really looks like ⚖️ the 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 of scientific work 🌍 how our efforts in 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 translate into 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 Always inspiring to engage with the next generation of scientists — your curiosity and questions made the session truly meaningful! 🙌 A big thank you to the students for your enthusiasm and engagement — we hope this visit sparked ideas, inspiration, and future possibilities in science 🚀 Jian Hung Sam Henrietta Papp Samuel Tong Cheryl Lee Mugdha Patwardhan Jinlu Wu #ASTARforSG #ScienceOutreach #TalentDevelopment #PandemicPreparedness #InfectiousDiseases
