The absolute worst thing you can do on a Friday afternoon is check a final batch of product, notice a tiny mistake, and try to convince yourself that "the client probably won't even notice." They always notice. In our yard, if a batch of minerals is ground even slightly out of specification, it can cause a client's multi-million-naira machinery to lock up. Trying to force a bad delivery out the gate just to hit a weekend deadline is how you destroy a business relationship that took years to build. If the quality isn't 100% right, you don't ship it. You stop the line, you fix the issue, and you accept the delay. Now the yard gates are locked, the final correct loads are dispatched, and the week is officially over. Doing things right takes a lot of mental energy, and you can't run an operation if your own battery is flat. Shut the laptop, put the phone on silent, and get some actual rest this weekend.
