Aspire, #KIPPSoCal, Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, Ednovate Inc Schools, Navigator Schools, Bright Star Schools, Voices College-Bound Language Academies, Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, and Semillas Community Schools families, students, and leaders recently took their voices to Sacramento. At our 5th Annual Day of Action, our advocates held 35 meetings with state lawmakers to push for equitable school funding that meets the real needs of California students, especially those facing the greatest challenges. We're grateful to Senator Marie Alvarado Gil for joining us and championing students across CA! We were also proud to present Senator Angelique Ashby with our annual Policy, Advocacy & Impact Award in recognition of her commitment to CA students.
