Sydney Fish Market: Jury Winner of the 2026 Architizer A+Awards - Architecture + Landscape The Architizer A+Awards is a global program celebrating the world’s best architecture and built environment, honouring projects that balance technological innovation with timeless craft, defined by care, intention, and a deep understanding of context. The new Sydney Fish Market, designed by 3XN/GXN, BVN Architecture, and ASPECT Studios, received top honours as the Jury Winner in the Architecture + Landscape category. Fast becoming a cultural landmark for Sydney, the new Sydney Fish Market transformed a working waterfront into a vibrant public destination for food enthusiasts, tourists, and locals alike. Featuring over 6,000 sqm of public open space, the waterfront promenade reconnects a missing piece in the 15 km Sydney foreshore walk from Rozelle Bay to Woolloomooloo.
