SWE @ IBM

This summer, I worked as a Software Developer Intern at IBM, focusing on improving AI assistant performance through data quality, retrieval optimization, and system efficiency. I analyzed cross-contamination of document sources across enterprise platforms using SQL, Snowflake, and Python, improving data integrity and traceability. I optimized retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) configurations and applied contextual retrieval techniques to enhance semantic coherence and response relevance using AWS Bedrock and Langchain. Additionally, I deployed prompt caching optimizations that reduced query processing time, strengthening overall system scalability. I am incredibly grateful to my manager, Jason Turner, and mentors Yu Zhou, Scott Romney, and Alexei Krasnoselsky for their guidance and support throughout this experience. A special thank you as well to everyone I had the chance to meet and learn from at IBM. It was inspiring to connect with so many talented and passionate people. #IBM #Internship #SoftwareDevelopment #IBMIntern
