Victoria has passed major reforms to the labour hire licensing regime under the Labour Hire Legislation Amendment (Licensing) Act 2025 (Vic). By 1 June 2026 – Members should have: - Identified all labour hire and near-labour hire arrangements - Mapped full security labour supply chains (including intermediaries) - Reviewed service, subcontracting and on-supply clauses - Verified licence status of labour suppliers - Started reviewing whistleblower and complaint handling processes - Briefed senior management and procurement teams In today’s Member Bulletin (MBN130), we offer context and information regarding changes to labour licensing laws in Victoria.
