As part of reforms introduced on 19 June 2025 under the Private Security and County Court Amendment Act 2024 and associated regulations, holders of an individual Security Guard, Crowd Controller, or Bodyguard licence in Victoria will be required to complete refresher training to renew their security licence. One year on from the changes to the Act, ASIAL, with representatives from the Licensing and Regulation Division of the Victorian Police, is running briefing sessions in Bendigo & Wangaratta - on the new refresher training requirements and other business licensing requirements introduced in June 2025.
