It was amazing to see this drone being used as part of the live Formula 1 broadcast this weekend, in the very capable hands of Dutch Drone Gods. This directing project was something else – a classic moon shot from Red Bull, leading to over a year of documenting the development and testing story, ending with one incredibly full-on day at Silverstone with one of the greatest drivers of all time. All fully tailored and told for YouTube, sitting at over 37 million views and 23k comments, with a Gold Clio Sport award to boot. We managed to pull it off with the most incredible team (special shout to Emily Thorp Kitty McMurdo-Schad Scott Marshall Matthew Martin Jack Haggerty) and an amazingly trusting and ambitious client in Callum Van de Mortel Archie Hawkes Tiago Almeida.
