Had the privilege of assisting Senior Advocates Gopal Shankar Narayan and Arvind Datar and in a landmark constitutional challenge to the Maratha reservation, currently being heard by the Hon’ble Constitution Bench, Bombay High Court. The matter saw the constitution of a special bench convening on Friday and Saturday, with opening arguments presented on behalf of the Petitioners. The hearing reflected the seriousness and national significance of the issue, since the bench being constituted to hear the matter on a holidays. During the proceedings, Senior Advocates Gopal Sankaranarayanan and Arvind Datar advanced substantial arguments challenging the constitutional validity of the impugned legislation.
