I love getting to work in ministry—especially alongside my husband. We just wrapped up a busy season of ministry, and I took this picture as we were resetting our building after our last night of Switch (our youth ministry at Life.Church). Ministry is fulfilling, but it can be hard. However, it's moments like these that I never want to forget. ❤️ Because though we left this night exhausted, we also left fulfilled. Knowing that the work we are doing is being used by the Lord to bring more people into His kingdom. And when it gets hard, I cling to this scripture: "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24 (also, please ignore the messy hair, we did in fact have a water balloon fight this night)
