I’ve seen Apple under Steve Jobs, Apple under Tim Cook, and now I’ll be witnessing Apple under John Ternus’s leadership. Steve Jobs gave the world iconic products like the iPhone and MacBook. He defined what innovation looks like. Tim Cook, on the other hand, scaled Apple into a $4T company. He didn’t create the iPhone, but he expanded the ecosystem with products like AirPods, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, and built unmatched execution, scale, and consistency. Now comes John Ternus. He is a hardware engineer, and I’m hoping he brings back the innovation of the Jobs era and marries it with the business prowess that Tim Cook built.
