A month into my new role as a Legal Helpline Paralegal at Irwin Mitchell, and I'm more motivated than ever about where law and technology meet. Working on the frontline of legal advice has shown me first-hand how much time goes into intake, triage, and compliance admin — and how much of it could be automated without sacrificing quality. So alongside my day job, I've been building. I'm an aspiring legal technologist, and I've just published three open-source n8n projects: ⚖️ Legal Enquiry Triage Workflow An AI-powered intake system that verifies client identity, classifies enquiries across 13 areas of law using an LLM agent, routes them to the right team, and sends confirmation emails — all without manual intervention. 🔒 Subject Access Request (SAR) Tracker A three-workflow system managing the full GDPR Article 15 lifecycle: intake, 30-day deadline tracking, daily reminders for urgent and overdue requests, and closure notifications. Built with ISO 27001 principles in mind. 📋 Gazette Insolvency Tracker An automated pipeline pulling live UK insolvency notices from The Gazette's public RSS feed, transforming the XML into structured JSON ready for Google Sheets or a database. All three are open-source, free to use, and import-and-run in n8n with no external database required. Links in the comments. If you work in legal tech, law firm operations, or compliance — or if you're on a similar path — I'd love to connect. #LegalTech #LegalInnovation #n8n #Automation #GDPR #OpenSource #IrwinMitchell
