Resim, fotoğraf, yerleştirme, heykel ve video gibi çeşitli mecralarda üretilen ve bir kısmı yakın zamanda koleksiyona dahil edilen bu eserler, izleyiciyi tatlı anılarla ya da kederlerle dolu evlerle, aidiyetlerimizi biriktiren katmanlı toprakla, geride bıraktığımız ya da içimizde taşıdığımız yuvalarla ve daha iyi bir gelecek arayışıyla yollarına düştüğümüz yabancı diyarlarla yeniden ilişkilenmeye davet ediyor. 📌 Sergi, 24 Haziran'dan itibaren görülebilir. Küratör | Curator: Selen Ansen 🔹 Conceived around the notions of “home” and “homeland”, the group exhibition “The Sky Was Candy” brings together works by 24 artists from the #ArterCollection. Produced in a range of media including painting, photography, installation, sculpture and video, these works – some of which have joined the collection only recently – invite us to (re)connect with the houses entrusted with cherished memories or painful sorrows, the earth that layers our belongings, the homes we leave behind or carry within us, and the foreign lands we journey toward in search of a better future. 📌 The exhibition will be on view as of 24 June. 🔖 Ahmet Öğüt, “Yokuş Boyunca” (2008), Arter binasına taşınırken | Ahmet Öğüt’s “Across the Slope” (2008) being transported to the Arter building, 2026.
