Summer is almost here and you can be sure the Artemis team is already making the most of it. ☀️ Swipe through to see how we're kicking off the season. Leslie Gallo: In May, my sister and I made our way to Oak Ridge, TN, to cheer on my niece Campbell and watch her medal in the SEC Rowing championship race. Cam has been perfecting her rowing for several years, and this is her freshman year rowing for the University of Alabama. The UA team has been making headlines in the world of NCAA rowing for its aggressive climb in the rankings. It was a magnificent day on the water and I'm so proud of Cam! Melanie Bush (Melanie Funk), M.S.: We kicked off summer by crossing off a “bucket list” item for my son—attending a televised WWE event live! He is quite the superfan and it was great to make memories with my family. That’s what it’s all about. I look forward to enjoying lots of fun in the sun this Summer (with proper sunscreen of course!). And of course—many berry-picking excursions! Mary Ann Nation-Greenwall: Summer began beautifully with a trip to Eurovision in Austria. I had the chance to reconnect with friends, enjoy incredible music, explore the sights, and even take part in a fascinating tour of the United Nations. It was truly a memorable and inspiring experience. Hillary Barton: This summer I am especially thankful for the abundant natural SoCal beauty – rainbows over the recovering San Gabriel mountains, beautiful blooms from our passionfruit vine and Queen of the Night cactus. In a summer focused on DIY home repairs, it is a joy to simply walk outside and take a breath to look around! Betsy Fallon: Summer is the perfect time to reconnect with nature, and my garden is in full swing. Growing fresh foods reminds us that good health often starts with simple things—sunshine, soil, and time spent outdoors.
