Yolus 2.0 Marketplace, Dha Peshawar Architecture Design Project Team: Arslan Alvie Rao Umair Afzaal Ayesha Malik The project presents a contemporary open-air retail and lifestyle destination designed around a pedestrian-friendly commercial street experience. Instead of a conventional enclosed plaza, the design creates a series of interconnected outdoor walkways, landscaped courtyards, shaded seating areas, and two-level retail blocks that together form an active urban environment. Planned as a mixed food, beverage, and leisure hub, the project places café and restaurant-style storefronts along active pedestrian routes. The layout encourages movement, exploration, and social interaction, with shops opening directly onto walkways, plazas, terraces, and landscaped pockets, creating the feeling of an urban food street or lifestyle village. Greenery, planting beds, water features, patterned paving, seating areas, and play zones soften the built environment and make the space comfortable for families and visitors. Overall, the project creates a vibrant, walkable commercial destination where dining, leisure, outdoor activity, and architectural experience come together in a family-friendly setting.
