‘𝗜𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲’ – 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 🤝 𝗔𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 We’ve partnered with Dirt Is Good on ‘𝙄𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚’ – bringing together our shared platforms to help keep girls engaged in play and connected to sport from an early age. New research shows girls in the UK are starting to step away from outdoor play from as young as eight, missing out on the confidence, joy and freedom that comes from playing freely. As part of the campaign, our players – including Alessia Russo, Chloe Kelly and Beth Mead – are sharing their own childhood moments of playing outside, showing how a love of the game often starts long before organised football. Together, we’re also engaging directly with young girls through local schools and matchday experiences at Emirates Stadium, creating more opportunities to experience the joy of play.
