Cora broke ground yesterday in Coral Gables, marking the start of a residential project defined by its architectural clarity and contextual approach. The design draws from the city’s Mediterranean heritage while introducing a contemporary language. Textured stucco, oolite stone, and bronze detailing are paired with floor-to-ceiling glazing, creating a balance between solidity and transparency. Traditional elements such as columns and material richness ground the building in its surroundings, while the clean lines and expansive openings bring in light, openness, and a modern sensibility. At its core, Cora is shaped by the relationship between architecture and environment, with a design that extends beyond the building to engage with the surrounding urban fabric.
