🚨Arnold’s Adventures | Week 4🚨 This week the adventures took me to Washington Nationals Park. SC&H’s Tysons office brought out the intern class for a Nats game and I had a blast! Good baseball, great people, and genuine conversations. Our intern experience is near and dear to me. We have people on our team right now who started as SC&H interns more than 5 years ago including me! They didn’t leave. They built careers here. That doesn’t happen at every firm and it doesn’t happen by accident. Sitting next to these interns for a few hours, hearing what they’re thinking about and where they want to go, reminded me why investing in people early actually matters. The best BD move any firm can make is keeping great people long enough for clients to trust them. Andrew McDavid Jefphon Dean Jaxson (Jax) Metzbower Jeremy Nupp Austin Pendleton Hezekiah Desire and all the other interns, you have already made a strong first impression. Keep that same energy when the summer ends. Guest appearance by Forbes Best in the State Megan DeGroat, CPA Question for my network: What made you stay at your first firm or what made you leave? Drop it in the comments. #ArnoldsAdventures #SCHG #InternLife #makeitrewarding #PublicAccounting #PeopleFirst #Tysons #FutureOfAccounting
