Last Friday, Arnold Hearing Centres hosted a Lunch & Learn at Harvest Moon in St. Jacobs, Ontario. Over 25 community members joined us for an afternoon focused on hearing health education. We covered the basics of how the auditory system works, the causes and progression of hearing loss, noise-induced hearing damage and prevention, and the current state of hearing technology. The format was simple: a real free lunch, no sales pressure, no product push. Just accurate information delivered in a relaxed setting. We are proud of events like this because informed patients make better decisions for their health, on their own timeline. Thank you to Michelle, Emily, and Tijana from our team for representing Arnold Hearing Centres so well, and to Ronda and Courtney from Bernafon Canada for their partnership and support on the day. We are planning more community education events across the Waterloo Region, Guelph, and Simcoe. Stay tuned!
