In a recent piece on “export champions”, leading Dutch newspaper NRC highlighted the story of our client WILA | Press Brake Productivity, a world leader in press brake tooling. In the article, managing director Hans Willemsen (the “Wi” in Wila) discussed the importance of innovations and patents for the success of his firm. The ‘safety click’ (for the patent nerds: EP0494714 and family) was specifically mentioned as an early example of a successful patented innovation.
