Yesterday we celebrated International Women's Day and we could not let the moment pass without reflecting on the women who paved the way for the work we do every day. Dr. Sara Josephine Baker dedicated her career to proving that preventable deaths are exactly that, preventable. Through systematic intervention and earlier detection she reduced infant and maternal mortality in New York City by over 1,500 lives per year. Her work was rooted in a simple belief that the right information at the right moment changes outcomes. We think about that kind of impact a lot at Armor Medical.
