Happy Juneteenth! 🖤 As we recognize this holiday and everything it commemorates, it's also a moment to reflect on the fact that access, opportunity, and outcomes are not experienced equally by everyone and that remains deeply true in healthcare. In 2023, Black women in the U.S. died at nearly 3.5 times the rate of white women around the time of childbirth even as overall maternal mortality declined. That gap is not a coincidence. It is the result of systemic inequities in access to care, data, and resources. At Armor Medical, we believe that improving access to high-quality data and insights is one small but meaningful part of helping drive more equitable care.
