A brand's secret sauce often lies in its authentic history. Yesterday on an all new episode of The A-State Advantage, host Heather R. Nelson sat down with Delta Dirt Distillery CEO Harvey Williams to talk about building a premium brand. Harvey shared a surprising story about discovering the true depth of his family's farm. While constructing the business to make sweet potato vodka, his dad brought in an old moonshine jug and revealed that his granddad used to make moonshine to buy the family farm back in 1949. Weaving that historical authenticity into his product design became a major positioning strategy for the company. It is a brilliant example of how authentic storytelling can elevate a business and resonate in a crowded market. Watch or listen to the full episode at the link in the comments below.
