As I’m setting up my new apartment in London (and figuring out what “unemployment in winter” feels like 🥶), I’ve been reflecting on the past 3.5 years that shaped me at Lazada — a journey that began when I was a fresh grad who barely knew how to build a pivot table. I once read that everyone should move to a new city in their 20s — and that’s exactly what I‘ve just done. ✈️ It is a dream come true to take this leap of faith, leave the job I loved, and fly 6,800 miles to build the life I’ve always imagined and aspired. It’s been an incredible ride growing global beauty brands in my time at Lazada. From spearheading 24-hour Super Brand Days with amazing partners like Sulwhasoo, Estée Lauder, and LANEIGE, to the unforgettable buzz of late-night double-digit mega campaigns — these memories will always remain as some of the defining chapters of my time there ✨ I’m grateful for the best mentor Sally Teo who nurtured me into the confident and curious professional I am today, Carey Chong and Martin Daney who believed in me and supported my growth from day one, the many colleagues & teammates who I’ve worked with closely & inspired me endlessly, and my brands who have trusted me to grow alongside them ❤️ Now, as I settle into this big and beautiful city, I’m excited to explore opportunities in FMCG, e-commerce, beauty, account management or marketing roles. I look forward to bringing my experience growing global beauty brands, managing e-commerce campaigns, and driving results in a fast-paced market to new challenges. Thanks to the High Potential Individual (HPI) visa, I’m authorised to live and work in the UK until Oct 2027. Moving to a new city with few familiar faces is pretty scary, but I know that the feeling of regret is going to be scarier.
