🦾 New research from ARISE partner Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) highlights a novel framework for optimizing soft fabric pneumatic actuators, currently in the proof stage with Advanced Intelligent Systems. Authored by Grigorios Chatziathanasiou, Konstantina Tsintzira, and Panagiotis Polygerinos, the study combines finite element modelling and multi-objective optimization to design energy-efficient soft actuators capable of meeting demanding force and motion requirements.
