We are happy to announce the publication of our latest collaborative research article, “Interfacial Self-Assembly of Novel Tribopositive Nanoporous 2D Germanium Selenide Thin Film for Energy Harvesting with High-Temperature Stability,” in Materials Science & Engineering R: Reports (Impact Factor: 21.1, and 99 percentile per Scopus). This work explores triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) based on thermally stable, sputtered 2D p-type germanium selenide (GeSe) nanoporous thin films. By engineering the structural and morphological architecture via thermal annealing, we demonstrate controlled charge transport and enhanced triboelectric performance, highlighting GeSe as a promising material for next-generation sustainable energy-harvesting and sensing applications. We extend our appreciation to Prof. Charalampos Pitsalidis and Dr. Chandrashekhar S. Patil, as well as our collaborators from Chonnam National University, Jeju National University, and Gyeongsang National University, for their invaluable contributions to this outstanding publication. We also acknowledge the support of the Advanced Research and Innovation Center (ARIC) and Khalifa University. 📄 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/ety2Xzxc #ResearchExcellence #EnergyHarvesting #TriboelectricNanogenerator #TENG #2DMaterials #GermaniumSelenide #KhalifaUniversity #ARIC
