🌍🚀 Mission accomplished. #VA265 success. From Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana, #Ariane6 has successfully launched the Sentinel-1D satellite on mission #VA265. 🛰 Sentinel-1D, developed by Thales Alenia Space for the European Commission under contract with ESA, is part of the EU’s Copernicus programme, the world’s most advanced Earth observation system. Equipped with advanced radar instruments, it will provide continuous, all-weather, day-and-night imagery of Earth’s surface, supporting vital monitoring of sea ice, glaciers, subsidence, and oil spills 🌍.
