⚛️ Orano at the World Nuclear Fuel Cycle 2026   Nuclear power is back at the center of the global energy conversation. And with this renewed momentum comes a shared responsibility: ensuring the entire fuel supply chain - from uranium mining to enrichment and recycling - is ready to meet the challenge. At WNFC 2026, Louis-Pierre Gagnon, MASc, PEng, PMP, Thibault Louvet and Jean-Luc Palayer took the stage to address the structural challenges - and opportunities - shaping our industry and how Orano is stepping up: 🟡 Innovation in uranium mining: our new method SABRE, deployed in 2025 and already producing at McClean Lake, shows how we turn innovation into industrial performance. 🟡 Scaling enrichment capacity: from the Georges Besse 2 expansion in France (+30% capacity) to new ambitions in the US, including the IKE Project, Orano is delivering reliable and competitive solutions to meet OECD customers’ needs. Our recent selection by the U.S. DOE for LEU services ($900M award) underscores Orano’s expertise and ability to deliver robust, secure and viable industrial projects based on proven technology. Our DN30 overpack packaging, the safest in the world, is another example: it is the only one that allows the transport of civil uranium (LEU, LEU+, HALEU) enriched up to 20%. 🟡 Fueling nuclear ambitions to sustain small, advanced and large reactors: our recycling model already saves up to 25% of natural uranium - with even more to come through our Aval du Futur program. Many thanks to the Nuclear Energy Institute and the World Nuclear Association for this excellent edition, and special thanks to Sama Bilbao y Leon, whom we had the pleasure of welcoming to the Orano Tricastin site for a technical visit alongside the event.   #WNFC2026 #NuclearEnergy #Innovation #FuelCycle   Jacques Peythieu François Lurin Frederic DE AGOSTINI Pascal Turbiault Dr. Christoph Geiger Christophe Mei Kaajal D.
