#MondayMonticello: “Burgundy Flowers”. The late Valentino Monticello’s artwork depicts a floral display made entirely from Burgundy wine labels. The tulips are Domaine de la Romanée-Conti labels: La Tâche, Romanée-Conti, Échezeaux, Richebourg, and Romanée-St-Vivant. Said Valentino: “All of my pictures are composed of shapes carefully cut from wine labels: the people, the flowers, even the lines, are carefully cut from different wine labels.
