Expanding TCI into Neonatal Care‼️ Advances in neonatal care and anaesthesia continue to highlight the importance of close collaboration between clinical practice and infusion technology. The recent publication Confort y Analgesia en Neonatología presents clinical insights on the implementation of the Morse TCI model for dexmedetomidine in neonatal intensive care. As highlighted by the authors: “In the operating room, dexmedetomidine allows the reduction of other anaesthetic agents while preserving their benefits, and in neonatal units it supports moving away from traditional sedation regimens based on benzodiazepines and opioids, drugs associated with significant side effects.” As this work was conducted using arcomed infusion pumps, we are pleased to share it as part of the ongoing development of precision infusion in real-world clinical practice. #CODAN #arcomed
