That's a wrap on 3daysofdesign 2026. Three days in, one idea held everything together: material as the real subject. Fredericia Furniture carried heritage forward through Jasper Morrison and Barber Osgerby. Montana Furniture made its case in colour, with two spaces in tribute to Verner Panton. Alpi S.p.A. answered in wood, with GamFratesi's Piazza Interiore turning reconstituted veneer into a de Chirico dreamscape. Mater x Project Materia brought together nine artists working with Matek, Mater's circular material pressed from coffee shells, sawdust and recycled plastic, asking what happens when waste is given the same gravity we once reserved for marble. A final stop at other circle, where the independents proved they're setting the pace, bringing art, design, fashion and food under one roof at The Lab. Among them, Pedestal, Nao Iwamatsu, Studio Booboon and NM3.XYZ. A festival that asked us to make this moment matter, answered by makers who clearly did. Tak, København.
